You are welcome to write on: genes, cytogenetic entities, leukaemias, solid tumours, and cancer prone diseases.
It is ESSENTIAL to use the guidelines herein given:
- Submission form for GENES
- Submission form for LEUKAEMIAS
- Submission form for SOLID TUMOURS
- Submission form for CANCER PRONE DISEASES
Lists (non-exhaustive) of entities "FOR SALE" where contributions are particularly welcome
Criteria of relevance for an entity:
II- DEEP INSIGHTS
These papers do not follow the above mentioned patterns; they are written as traditional papers at the author's convenience. They must be composed of an abstract and paragraphs with headings.
III- CASE REPORTS
This section is dedicated to recurrent -but rare- chromosomes abnormalities in leukaemias / lymphomas. As stated, cases of interest shall be :
- recurrent (i.e. previously described in at least 1 case),
- rare (previously described in less than 20 cases),
- with well documented clinics and laboratory findings,
- with iconography on chromosomes,
- in cases of hematological malignancy.
Iconographies are most welcome (accompanied with a legend, and the names and first name of the colleagues to be acknowledged: " Courtesy .... " ).
- In particular chromosome structural anomalies (G- and R- bandings and others), even if the anomaly is already in the Atlas in 1 or 2 samples, and FISH images;
- But also drawings of genes and proteins, pathology images, X-Rays.
- Maximal width for drawings is 17 cm; for pathology images, it is preferable that the length does not encompass half of the width.
- Please use preferably Arial 9 point for lettering.
- Images should be sent by e-mail, preferably in PPT for drawings, and in PNG, JPG, GIF, or PSD for photographs: chromosomes, histo-pathology, radiographs, ... PPT, PNG, PSD, JPG, GIF are workable; the desk may have problems with other formats.
- The Editor keeps the right to process drawings for them to conform to our editorial policies.

The rule for updates in the Atlas is to start from the current paper and modify it, add on it, as a sort of collaboration over times between two authors. We want to acknowledge the work of past, as well as present and future authors of the Atlas, because the Atlas is indebted to all the colleagues participating in it.
So, please, for an update: go to the existing card / select all / copy and paste in a Word file / put in green what should be deleted / add in red / comment in blue / and send it back to us by e-mail.
VI- Conflicts of Interest
Authors must state explicitly whether potential conflicts do or do not exist. Reviewers must disclose to editors any conflicts of interest that could bias their opinions of the manuscript. The editor and the editorial board members must disclose any potential conflict.
VII- Privacy and Confidentiality - Iconography
Patients have a right to privacy. Identifying details should be omitted. If complete anonymity is difficult to achieve, informed consent should be obtained.
